Darya Diamond (b. 1991) is a Mexican-American artist working across print, sculpture, audio and film. She explores literal and symbolic figurations of the body as a primordial workplace.
Her practice is ritually and theoretically rooted in methods of reproduction, regenerating and renegotiating the promise of transactional intimacy, care, and invisible labour through moldmaking, casting, and printmaking. Utlizing cast forms, religious iconography and pornography, Diamond’s work is a portrait of the body as a site of mutual aid, power, pleasure, and labour.
Diamond received her MFA from Goldsmiths University of London, and her BA from Hampshire College in Massachusetts. Her work has been featured internationally in numerous group and solo exhibitions at Sebastian Gladstone, Piloto Pardo, Pippy Houldsworth, Saatchi Gallery, Tree Art Museum and more.

Diamond's inquiry is lived, not abstract; it unfolds through the shifting terrain of hotel rooms and her London home. Six works surface from these landscapes, each a remnant, a trace.
Across media, Diamond collects the residue of encounters while testing the limits of labor and its aftermath. Sensitivity recoils, then returns; generosity stains what is left behind, residue that cannot be retrieved. The gap between experience and memento is forensic, raw, and unflinching. The body is not a passive medium. Tender Revelation is mediated evidence, taboo, and necessary. The works trace sentiment, solace, and acts of care that surface in physical and affective encounters. A room for witnessing, a way to meet what is vulnerable. Presence acknowledged, the body made visible where the forbidden lingers.
Diamond's profession is a direct demonstration of the relational effects of intimacy and its radical potential, suggesting that transcendence arises from presence, shared breath, and emotional attunement, where transactional intimacy becomes restorative, comforting, and transformative. The artist's body surfaces as a site where control, power, and vulnerability are all at stake.
